Set the Stage for The Next Act!

Blue Roses Project is thrilled to announce the addition of Tom Perrault (@tomperrault) to our esteemed Board of Directors!

Tom is currently a consultant living in New Orleans. He was formerly the Chief People Officer for MemSQL where he worked with executives to ensure that the company was a destination employer. Prior to MemSQL, Tom was the Chief People Officer at Rally Health, a consumer healthcare platform acquired by UnitedHealth Group. Previous to that, he was Chief People Officer for Meebo, a Mountain View-based social networking company bought by Google. He has also served as the VP, Global Human Resources for Glu Mobile, a mobile gaming company, as well as VP of Human Resources for ZipRealty. Tom served as Chair, Board of Directors of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation for three years, helping San Francisco to be on track to become the first city to end HIV transmission.

Tom earned his B.A. in history and political science from Rice University and a J.D. from the Duke University School of Law.

Part of @twfestnola’s 40th Anniversary, this unforgettable evening at the historic Hotel Monteleone will feature live music from New Orleans’s own @chloebandita followed by a lively conversation with @billyeichner, who will share excerpts from his upcoming audio memoir BILLY ON BILLY.

Eichner will be joined on stage by CBS News correspondent and Broadway playwright @waxxman for a candid conversation about his creative journey, the artists who shaped him, and the voice behind one of comedy’s most recognizable personalities.

Proceeds support Blue Roses Project and the Tennessee Williams & New Orleans Literary Festival, two New Orleans nonprofits dedicated to sharing this city’s rich cultural history and supporting the next generation of artists.

All week, we’ve been hard at work on RED TIDE, a new play by Dom Martello.

As a hurricane barrels toward Tampa Bay, winds howl, lights flicker, and walls begin to talk—some literally. With only storm shutters and secrets between them, two strangers are forced to confront the ghosts they’ve been avoiding—both real and metaphorical.

This supernatural rom-com navigates grief, transness, rage, joy, and the shifting currents of American politics.
